BRANDING
Alta Moda Atelier
Brand identity case study of a luxury deadstock fabric store and atelier
Role: Art direction and visual design
Ownership: Led the rebrand, translating brand objectives into a cohesive visual identity and applied design system.
Context & challenge
Alta Moda approached me to rebrand their established brand. Alta Moda is an atelier and fabric store specializing in Italian deadstock textiles and custom tailoring services. The atelier emphasizes creating unique styles, promoting slow fashion, and reviving traditional bespoke tailoring practices.
The challenge was to revamp their brand in a way that remained memorable and maintained a strong connection with their existing clientele. The client requested a minimal and clean design approach.
Moodboards
Process
The goal of a monochrome branding palette was to keep the design neutral. With textiles being inherently vibrant and textured, a neutral colour scheme ensures the branding complements rather than competes with the product.
